What if I don't want to steer or brake?

Due to the realistic physics you will need to have either Autopilot and Auto Braking enabled, a keyboard, or the companion app to change lanes and brake.

If you don't want to bother with steering or braking, or you are just getting started, we suggest you leave both Autopilot and Auto Braking on (both of these are on by default for new users). It is easy to turn these Assists on and off from several places.

  • Every time you enter an activity the loading page has the Assists toggle at the top right of the screen.
  • From an activity you can press the ESC key to open the Activity Info screen and access the Assists toggle.
  • From the Home page you can select User Profile and the Assists are on the right side of the page.
